Corporate Communications Lead (Financial)

Here is a brilliant new opportunity to join a multinational telecoms & consumer technology leader. We are seeking a highly-skilled corporate comms professional with deep experience and demonstrable expertise in delivering financial communications at leadership level.

Reporting to the Global Head of Public Relations, you will be absolutely pivotal in developing and implementing this much-admired brand’s corporate narrative, helping to protect and enhance its positioning as an enduring B2B technology innovation pacesetter. You’ll be at the vanguard of corporate reputation with a deep understanding of the changing global media landscape and the ability to secure media coverage of the highest quality.

Operating as part of a team that delivers quarterly financial updates, annual results and critical corporate comms as well as handling crisis & issues management, you will work closely with the wider Corporate Affairs and Investor Relations functions and many other key parts of the business so will need the ability to move seamlessly and effectively between diverse stakeholder groups.

This crucial role at a global organisation almost perpetually in transformation mode will suit a resilient, seasoned pro with an analytical mindset who is utterly at home dealing with data in ambiguous environments and running complex, integrated programmes simultaneously. Experience leading communications through fast-paced M&A or divestments is essential and, naturally, you’ll be an absolutely first-class influencer with the ability to provide constructive challenge at C-suite level when necessary.

Recently described as one the world’s most ethical companies, this is a place where creativity is actively encouraged and new ideas – backed by data – are always welcome. And, because this is a brand new position in the team, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to shape things and develop best practice from the word go. While it’s the core skills we’re looking for here, a B2B background would be a good idea and, if you’ve any exposure to the technology or telecoms sectors, all the better.

This role is UK-based and offers a significant amount of remote working if preferred but there’ll undoubtedly be some European travel on a quarterly basis.

Please contact me ASAP for a deeper conversation about the role and organisation.

Due to a high volume of applicants, we are unable to respond to everyone. We will get in touch if you are successful in your application.
